Rummy Named Official Card Game of the States

Governor Eric Greitens has signed Senate Bill 86 into law, making rummy the official card game of the state of Missouri.

“This is a great day for Missourians everywhere,” Governor Greitens said. “Rummy is a fun, easy-to-learn card game that embodies the spirit of friendly competition.”

The new law takes effect on August 28, 2017.

Rummy Becomes First Official Mobile Game of the United States

On July 25, 2019, the United States of America announced that rummy will become its first-ever official mobile game. The decision was made by the US Department of the Interior in partnership with leading rummy platform RummyCircle.com.
